Gamer Racing Seat

Posting this up for my fellow sharky’s as I promised pictures over a year ago but forgot!

Before the pics I’ll explain a little bit about it.  The seat is made from an old office chair covered in a walmart automotive seat cover.  The platform for the steering wheel is made out of MDF cut with a jigsaw and wrapped in heavy duty black felt.  For the frame I used 16ga 1″x1″ square tubing welded at the seams with a cheap MIG welder.  The steering wheel height and the distance to the pedals is adjustable by loosening and tightening the adjusting bolts.  

Altogether the materials cost me roughly 35-40 dollars.  I’ve been using the seat off and on since I made it and am happy with its performance.  Now on with the pics:
